As Chile’s large Palestinian community seeks to strengthen economic ties with its homeland.

Chile’s free market pension system (AFP) will be replicated in Palestine, according to Bank of Palestine president, Hashim Shawa, who also announced a swath of projects aimed at strengthening economic ties between Chile and Palestine.

There is no such country as Palestine. It is often referred to as the State of Palestine, but it is not a country. I think the author needs to take a geography and a history class.

just curious, but who was the first president of palestine? What is the name of the currency? In what year was the Palestine flag created? In what year was the first Palestine postage stamp printed?

Why does the author of this article refer to "Palestine" as a homeland, let alone a homeland of Chilean citizens.

Oh, and do we really want to be close to ...Hamas? is that good for Chile?
