Ten Chileans reach summit of the world’s tallest mountain after 57-day journey.A small group of Chileans were able to let out a well-deserved sigh of relief this Friday morning as they set foot on the summit of Mount Everest after days of putting their bodies on the line.
The expedition of ten Chileans and ten local guides, headed by 52-year-old mountaineer and professor Rodrigo Jordan, became the fifth-ever Chilean team to conquer the 29,000-foot behemoth.
