Internships at The Santiago Times
Founded in 1990, The Santiago Times is a pioneering, Internet- based newspaper serving English speakers and international visitors from around the world. From the 2010 earthquake to the state of the glaciers and the latest mining deal, The Santiago Times is most often the international paper of record on all matters related to Chile. Three times each year, our company offers editorial and sales-marketing internship placements to a select few of qualified applicants for four-month terms. All positions are based in Santiago, Chile. Although internships are unpaid, each intern receives the opportunity to better his or her reporting-writing or sales-marketing skills, as well as their knowledge of Chile and Latin America. As we welcome both native English and Spanish speakers, it is also a great opportunity to develop bilingual language skills. Interns are given responsibilities similar to any part of the team, and as such have access to key industry players throughout the country.
