Exiled during Pinochet dictatorship, Rojas is widely considered as one of Chile’s literary greats
Gonzalo Rojas died in Santiago on Monday morning at the age of 93. The acclaimed Chilean poet, considered one of Latin America’s greatest modern writers, was in poor health after suffering from pneumonia late last year and a stroke in February.
