An earthquake aftershock of 6.7-magnitude caused more panic among inhabitants of the Biobio region Monday evening. The tremble took place 38 minutes before midnight. Although the epicenter was in the sea, 86 km northeast from Concepcion, the Chilean Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (SHOA) ruled out the possibility that it would generate a tsunami.
