While Brazil and Santiago Times chide “narrow view” of Washington Post editorial

President-elect Sebastian Piñera on Friday strongly backed Jose Miguel Insulza’s bid for a second term as head of the Organization of American States (OAS), putting to rest doubts raised by a Washington Post editorial that questioned Insulza’s fitness for the job.

The Washington Post editorial dovetailed with a Friday opinion piece in published in Chile’s conservative El Mercurio newspaper that also urged Insulza’s removal from his OAS leadership job.
