VTR rejects new TV deal negotiations due to disproportionate CDF demands Chilean soccer broadcaster CDF switched off its service to customers of cable provider VTR on Wednesday after contract negotiations between the firms ended in stalemate. Local media report that negotiations broke down over the new contract’s value. CDF is understood to want US$30 million for a new contract, a figure twice the value of the existing US$15 million deal.
