The Santiago Times takes an inside look at what may be President Michelle Bachelet’s most powerful legacy More than just somber faces can be found at Chile’s newly inaugurated Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos. Families, teenagers and groups of tourists alike roam the exhibitions in the museum dedicated to documenting Chile’s dark period of human rights abuses during the military dictatorship that ruled the country from 1973 to1990.
