Fifty former residents of Chaitén returned to their Region X hometown
on Wednesday to reclaim belongings they had left behind when escaping
the violent Chaitén volcano eruption nearly two months ago. ![]() 50 people were allowed to return to their homes after almost two months to recover automobiles, photographs and documents.
