The first season of Pablo Larraín’s ‘Prófugos’ will air on HBO Latino starting in September.
American cable television network HBO will broadcast the Chilean drama “Prófugos” (“Fugitives”) on its HBO Latino channel starting on Sept. 24.
The first season of the series, originally aired in Chile on HBO Latinoamérica last September, will run weeknights at 10 p.m Eastern Time through Oct. 10. It will be the first television program filmed completely in Chile ever to be broadcast on American HBO.
“Prófugos,” the television debut from Chilean director Pablo Larraín, centers around four men—played by Benjamín Vicuña, Luis Gnecco, Néstor Cantillana and Francisco Reyes—recruited by the boss of a drug cartel to transport a shipment of cocaine across the border from Bolivia to Chile.
