A magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck Chile’s central region on early Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The epicenter was 26 miles north-northeast of Valparaíso and 70 miles northwest of Santiago and at a depth of 26 miles at 12:50 a.m. local time, according to the USGS.
