Amnesty International launches annual report as new voting registration digs at old wounds.

Amnesty International Chile made public its 2012 Annual Report on Human Rights this Thursday, putting a special emphasis on justice for victims of human rights atrocities committed during the military dictatorship that ruled the country from 1973-1990. The report was launched in the midst of a recently rekindled national debate over the legal status of forcibly disappeared persons during that period.
