12 arrested, 1 injured as peaceful ‘slut walk’ against Ñuñoa Mayor Pedro Sabat turns violent.

The scene at Plaza Ñuñoa on Friday night was a blur of feather dusters, bare midrifts, fishnet tights and the occasional French maid’s outfit.

Women waved banners with slogans such as “Whore? Perhaps. Stupid? Never.” and “Sabat: coward, dictator, sexist.” Others meanwhile sported outlandish makeup and held balloons made from condoms as national press salivated at the colorful and forthright statement.
