69 percent of new teachers don’t know the teaching curriculum, 42 percent can’t teach.

Results from the Education Ministry’s Inicia 2011 test released Monday showed that 69 percent of new teachers haven’t mastered their teaching curriculum and 42 percent don’t know how to teach.

This alarming new data comes as the country’s continued education struggle has brought President Sebastián Piñera’s approval ratings to new lows.
